This weeks amazing looking bread recipe has been provided by Linda Wilson. Served with Gordon Ramsay’s spicy butternut hummus (Yumm!)


You will need:

  • 3 cups nutty wheat or whole wheat flour (I use 2.5 cups flour and half cup seeds/nuts)
  • 1 teaspoon bicard
  • 1 big tablespoon honey
  • 500ml bulgarian or greek yoghurt or buttermilk


Mix the flour, bicarb and honey. Then stir in the yoghurt (stir about 1 minute)
Transfer to baking tin and bake 50 – 60 mins at 180 degrees. (Test as you would a cake)


Great for any variations you fancy, raisins/apple, herbs/garlic/chilli/sun dried tomatoes/whatever…best seeds are sesame and linseed (flax), sunflower and poppy. You can add oats too.

  • It looks amazing!!! It’ll be great in my mouth and going down. On the way out however…not so great. SO wish I could have yummy stuff like this!!
