worm-prep

Here is another quick and easy craft to do with your kids on a rainy day. This friendly worm is the perfect craft for younger children.

All you need:

  1. Old Stockings ( Cut in Half that you have one leg)
  2. News Paper
  3. Glue
  4. Scissors
  5. Black and Red/Pink Koki pens
  6. Little white sheet of paper ( for eyes and mouth)

What to do:

Worms Body

Scrunch up the News Paper in a Ball shape and push it down the Stocking.

Repeat this until the stocking is filled up with News Paper. Tie a knot when the stocking is filled up with newspapers. You will see it will start shaping like a worm.

The Face of the Worm

Cut two circles out from the white sheet of paper with the scissors ( Be careful!) for the eyes and color in the pupils in with black Koki Pen.

Apply the Glue at the back of the eye and stick it on the Worms Face.

Cut a Crescent shape out of the rest of the white paper. This will be the mouth. Color it in with Red /Pink Koki Pen .

Apply Glue at the back of the mouth and stick it under the Worm’s eyes.

Now your Friendly Recycled Worm is ready to play with!
